All contractors and workers must complete the Gladstone Airport Terminal Induction before commencing any work on-site. This induction provides critical information about site safety, operational protocols, and security requirements. Completion of the induction is mandatory, ensuring that all personnel understand their responsibilities when working in a controlled airport environment.
It is the responsibility of the employing contractor or organisation to ensure that every team member has completed the induction process before accessing the site or commencing any tasks.

All work at Gladstone Airport requires a Permit to Work. Contractors must submit the Permit to Work form at least 48 hours before starting. This applies to all contractors, regardless of who engages them.+
If work involves isolating electricity, water, gas or fire systems, an Isolation Permit is also required. This is in addition to the standard Permit to Work and must be arranged before commencing any such activity.
