Food and Restaurants

Café ten28 
Open in the Departures area of the Terminal during regular flight times.
Offering coffee, light and fresh meals accompanied by friendly customer service.

Amenities Information

Toilets
Public toilets (including facilities for particular needs people) are available in the Check-In, Arrivals Hall and Departures Lounge.

Parent’s Room
Parents rooms are located at the Check-In area and Departures Terminal.

Drop Off

A two minute drop off and pick up zone is located outside the Departures section of the Terminal. Drivers are not permitted to leave their vehicles.
Vehicles parked in loading zones for more than two minutes will be moved on or be subject to fines under Gladstone Regional Council Local Law No.5 (Parking) 2011 – Subordinate Local Law No.5 (parking) 2011.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available in all public car parking areas and are clearly sign posted. The accessible parking within the short-term car park is located close to the terminal entrances. The accessible parking in the long-term car park is located close to the walkway access to the terminal.

Disability Access & Parking

Gladstone Airport provides facilities for passengers with disabilities and special needs.

Airlines are responsible for the facilitation of passengers with disabilities and special needs from check-in to baggage collection. Passengers must inform their airline or travel agent of any special requirements at the time of booking including any temporary or permanent limits to mobility or vision to enable necessary arrangements.

It is also important to check with your airline if medical clearance is required by the airline for your specific circumstances. Each airline has different guidelines on the carriage of people with reduced mobility and requirements for additional assistance. In general, airlines advise booking at least five days in advance of travel and advising of special requirements at time of booking.

Access Information
The wellbeing of all passengers and visitors to Gladstone Airport is our highest priority. Gladstone Airport provides the following facilities for disabled travellers and visitors:

• Wheelchair access
• Lift access
• Signage for blind people is in braille
• Hearing loops in designated areas for equipped Hearing Aides

Disabled Facilities

• Disabled toilets are located in the Check-in area and the Departures Lounge, opposite boarding Gate 3
• Braille notices and floor textures
• Ramps
• Airlines make audio calls for boarding aircraft which will also be transmitted over the hearing loop
• Gladstone Airport security screening officers will provide assistance to passengers at the screening point

Travelling with pets

Pet travel is arranged through the respective airline freight process. Passengers should not bring pets into the Airport Terminal.

Terminal WIFI

Gladstone Airport Terminal has complimentary wifi available for use by passengers and visitors. Just look for Airport-WiFi on your device and connect to it.

Luggage

Trolley bays are located in front of Departures and Check-In as well as inside the Terminal building at the Bagagge Carousel.
In line with Commonwealth aviation security legislation, there are no luggage storage facilities provided at Gladstone airport.
It is an offence to leave any baggage unattended in public areas at the airport. All baggage should be clearly tagged with your contact details.

Smoking Area

Smoking is not permitted inside the Terminal, or within seven meters of an entry door. Gladstone Airport has provided designated outside smoking areas located in the main carpark opposite the Arrivals Doors.

Safety and Security (ADD)

Dangerous Goods
Please do not carry any flammable liquids, gases, explosives and other dangerous goods with you in your luggage.

Items of this nature are not permitted on the aircraft as they have the capacity to pose a significant risk to the the health and safety of all passengers when transported by air. Security staff will remove items of this nature when detected.
