Last Friday 25 June 2021 Gladstone Airport Corporation and Helloworld Travel celebrated its first charter flight from Gladstone, destination Uluru.

The travellers were treated to a light champagne breakfast in our departure lounge with catering provided by our own airport cafe, Volare Cafe & Bar.

Once the flight departed our local Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Service (ARFFS) provided a water cannon salute to send them on their way!

Gladstone Airport Corporation, Chairman Adrienne Ward said, “we hope this will be one of many charter services to different destinations from Gladstone. It will provide our local region and community with greater options and destinations.”

We would like to thank everyone involved in making this event and the charter a huge success.
